The following terms are defined as follows:
Product: a product means all products and services available for sale on the Site such as our course packages: DISCOVERY, EXPLORATION, IMMERSION and ODYSSEY.
Beneficiary: The beneficiary can be a purchaser or a third party.
Teacher: providing language classes in videoconference.
DISCOVERY: represents an hour class in the chosen language.
EXPLORATION: is a course package of 10, 15 or 20 hours in the chosen language.
IMMERSION: is a course package of 30, 40 or 50 hours in the chosen language.
ODYSSEY: is a course package of 60, 80 or 100 hours in the chosen language.
The ''User'', ''Clients'', ''You'' and ''Your'' refers to you, the person accessing the website and accepting IALG's Terms & conditions.
''IALG'', ''Ourselves'', ''We'' and ''Us'' refers to our company Institute Aéronautique et Linguistique de la Guadeloupe.
''Party'', ''Parties'', or ''US'', refers to both the clients and ourselves, the client or ourselves.
2.1 The following Terms and Conditions of sale are only applicable between the Client, the User of IALG Site and IALG.
IALG reserves the right at our sole discretion to edit or delete any documents, information or other content of our Site. These conditions &Terms of sale are subject to change by IALG at any time at its discretion. Your use of this Site and purchases made after such changes are implemented constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the changes. Please consult the terms & conditions on a regular basis.
2.2 Any use of the Site owned by IALG's partners and purchase made on their Site are governed by the Terms & conditions of said partners. The Client using our partners' Site acknowledges and agrees to their Terms & Conditions.
3- PURCHASE ON IALG STORE
The different steps when ordering IALG's product and services on the Site are as follows :

The products and services ordered by the Client are not available for use until paid for in full.
Our products and services can be purchased online using our Site visiolang.net which can be accessed 24/7. Estimates are available for our language courses for professionals. You can request an estimate by contacting us at email@example.com .
Prices listed on the Site are in Euros and, depending on your country of residence, inclusive of all taxes. The total amount is displayed at the final stage of the purchase process.
We reserve the right to revise prices at any time without notice. However, we are committed to applying the prices listed on the site at the time of purchase.
Incorrect prices listed on the Site due to any reasons such as computer bug, human error, technical error will invalidate Client's purchase. Purchasee will be cancelled and full refund offered to Client.
IALG is commited to honour your purchase and your desired start date of your language courses.Please note that your chosen language teacher's availability may vary according to our programmes and we will endevour to find you a teacher within the validity of your purchase.
6.1 The payment options that are available on our Site :
6.2 Debit and credit cards used for payment on IALG Site are processed through a secure system called ''Secure Socket Layer''. This system ensures cards details are encrypted during the transaction. IALG and its partner Paymill verify the reliability of information entered when a purchase is made on the Site. IALG is commited in protecting all clients against online purchase fraud.
Once a course is purchased, the Beneficiary receives login details. These username and password give a 24/7 access to Kaizen by IALG and its components : exercises, games, calendar, forum and IALG's dedicated videoconference system. The validity of these login details varies according to the course package selected by the beneficiary.
Our Language Department Executive (LDE) contacts you to establish your proficiency level (based on the Common European Framework of Reference) in the chosen language and your language learning objectives. Once the objectives are identified, the LDE will allocate you a teacher who best suits your needs.
While online classes' dates and hours will be planned in advance, there may be occasions when the Beneficiary may change class schedules and book a new class date and time. To book a class, you must use our online booking system. We recommend you make a reservation at least 48 hours in advance.
Once a class is booked, we advise the Beneficiary to contact the teacher to seek confirmation of time and dates. Only when the teacher confirms the class date and time that the class hour is validated. The Beneficiary must be logged in on Kaizen by IALG at an appropriate time to ensure an ontime class start.
8- CLASS CANCELLATION
Should the Beneficiary be unable to attend a class, cancellation notification must be made no less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled class time. Cancellation must be made exclusively on the Site's agenda and/or via email to the specific teacher. No other form of cancellation is accepted.
Cancellations received less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled start time is treated as a no show resulting in the deduction of the hour(s) from the course package. The Beneficiary is sent a notification email to be advised of deduction.
9- CHANGE OF TEACHER
The beneficiary may request a change of teacher. You must send such request to the Language Department Executive by email. Please note that classes may be taught by one or several teachers throughout a course package.
10- TERM OF VALIDITY
All course packages have a validy period. The start date of a course is set from first online class date and time and/or from first use of activity, exercises and forum on Kaizen by IALG. Validity of course packages are specified when purchasing a course on IALG Store Site.
11- CHANGE OF COURSE PACKAGE
The Beneficiary may choose to modify a course package when it has not yet been used. You must send us a email at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a change of your purchase. Following such request, we provide you with a voucher usable on other packages. Please note that if the amount of the voucher is lower than the new chosen package, you must pay the difference using the payment methods available on the Site.
12- LOGISTICAL AND TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITY
IALG acts as a service provider which requires means and equipments we cannot provide to our clients. The Beneficiary must possess and/or have access to a computer compatible with our system, a broadband internet connection, a suitable browser with flash plugin installed, a sound card, a headset or speakers, a microphone and a webcam.
Throughout our Site you may find links to third party websites. The provision of a link to such a website does not mean that we endorse that website. If you visit any website via a link on IALG Site you do so at your own risk.
IALG cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect material or emotional damages suffered by exposure to content outside of the IALG Site.
13- RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
Based on the terms of ''l’article L.121-20 du Code de la consommation'', the Beneficiary has the right to cancel an order within seven (7) days of purchase, with no penalty charges or required justification. The seven (7) day period starts from the moment the payment transaction is completed on our Site.
If a course is started within these seven (7) days, you cannot exercise your right of cancellation and no refund will be actionned.
Cancellation request must be sent by email at email@example.com .
Cancellation requested in accordance to l'Article L.121-20 will be refunded within thirty days of receipt of cancellation request email.
14- PURCHASE PROOF
You are explicitly informed that in case of differences between your records and IALG’s records, the data stored in IALG database has evidential value, unless a valid and acceptable proof of purchase is provided by you.
Data saved on computer and edocuments constitute admissible evidence and are enforceable in the same terms and with the same value as any document received and recorded in writing.
15- LAW and JURISDICTION
These terms and conditons are governed by French law.
Any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of France.
We do not accept liability for any loss or damage that you suffer as a result of using our Sites.
In the event that either party is prevented from fulfilling its obligations by reason of any supervening event beyond its control including but not limited to war, national emergency, flood, earthquake, strike or lockout, the party shall not be deemed to be in breach of its obligations. The party shall immediately give notice of this to the other party and must take all reasonable steps to resume performance of its obligations.
16- DATA PROTECTION
Clients records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than our partners and if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. IALG is the sole owner of your information.
The User has the rights to request sight of, and copies of any or all personal records we keep on the User, on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such request.
